Salary
Selected Agniveers will receive a monthly package as follows:
- 1st Year: ₹30,000
- 2nd Year: ₹33,000
- 3rd Year: ₹36,500
- 4th Year: ₹40,000
In addition, candidates receive risk & hardship allowances, medical facilities, insurance cover, and a Seva Nidhi package (lump sum on exit).
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and English, with minimum 50% marks overall and 50% in English.
- OR a 3-Year Engineering Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Tech, etc., with 50% marks overall and in English.
- OR a 2-Year Vocational Course with Physics and Math as subjects (min. 50% aggregate and English score).
- Age Limit:
- Candidates should be born between 02 July 2005 and 02 January 2009.
- Minimum age: 17.5 years, Maximum: 21 years.
- Marital Status:
- Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible.
- Nationality:
- Must be an Indian citizen.
- Mandatory Medical Standards:
- Height:
- Male: Minimum 152 cm
- Female: Minimum 152 cm, relaxed to 147 cm for NE states & Uttarakhand hills
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per IAF standards
- Chest (Male): Minimum 77 cm with 5 cm expansion
- Chest (Female): Chest must be well proportioned, with 5 cm expansion
- Hearing: Should be able to hear forced whisper at 6 meters in each ear
- Dental Health: Must have healthy gums, good teeth, and minimum 14 dental points
- General Health:
- No deformity or loss of appendages
- Should conform to general fitness norms
- Visual Standards:
- Vision: 6/12 in each eye, correctable to 6/6 in each eye
- For Female Candidates Only:
- Gynecological Examination includes checking external genitalia, perineum, hernia orifices
- Any signs of stress incontinence or prolapse will lead to rejection
- Pregnancy: If found pregnant during selection, candidature will be rejected
