Salary

Upon regularization, selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary ranging from ₹29,500 to ₹65,000, along with applicable allowances. During the initial one-year temporary employment, wages will be paid as per minimum wage norms of the respective unit.

BHEL Artisan Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification:
  • Must have passed Class 10 + ITI (NTC) + NAC in relevant trade.
  • Minimum 60% marks for General/OBC and 55% for SC/ST in both NTC and NAC.
• Age Limit(as on 1st July 2025):
  • General/EWS: 27 years
  • OBC (NCL): 30 years
  • SC/ST: 32 years
  • Relaxations:
    • PWD: 10–15 years
    • Ex-Servicemen: As per Govt. norms
    • J&K Domicile (1980–1989): +5 years
    • Up to 7 years based on relevant work experience
• Desirable: Knowledge of regional languages—Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, or Hindi depending on unit location.

Selection Process

• Stage I: Computer Based Examination (CBE)
  • Objective test covering trade-specific topics.
  • Offered in Hindi, English, and regional languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada).
  • Minimum qualifying marks:
    • UR/EWS: 30/100
    • OBC/SC/ST: 22.5/100
  • Candidates shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio for next stage.
• Stage II: Skill Test & Document Verification
  • Qualifying in nature.
  • Final merit list will be based solely on CBE marks.
• Direct Skill Test Exemption:
  • Candidates awarded Best Apprentice/Runner-Up at All India Skill Competitions can skip the CBE and appear directly for the skill test.
