Eligibility Criteria

1. Post Graduate Assistant – Languages & Academic Subjects

• Educational Qualifications (choose one of the following):
  1. A postgraduate degree (≥ 50%) in the relevant language or subject and a B.Ed. from a National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) recognized institution.
  2. A postgraduate degree (≥ 45%) with B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized college, in line with the NCTE regulations of 2002 and 2007.
  3. A postgraduate degree (≥ 50%) plus a B.A.Ed. or B.Sc.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution.
• Degree alignment: Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees must be in the same subject or an approved equivalent where recruitment is being made.

2. Physical Director Grade I

• Educational Qualifications (choose one):
  1. A B.P.Ed., B.P.E., or B.Sc. in Health & Physical Education with ≥ 55%, recognized under NCTE 2009 regulations.
  2. At least 50% marks in a 4-year integrated B.P.Ed. professional degree per NCTE 2007 regulations.
  3. B.P.Ed. with ≥ 55% or a ≥ 3-year B.P.E. course with ≥ 50%, in accordance with 2002 NCTE regulations.
• Additional requirement: M.P.Ed. of at least 2 years from an NCTE-recognized institution.

3. Computer Instructor Grade I

• Educational Qualifications (choose one):
  1. Postgraduate degree (≥ 50%) in computer science or related subject plus B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution.
  2. Postgraduate degree (≥ 45%) with B.Ed. compliant with NCTE regulations of 2002/2007.
  3. Postgraduate degree (≥ 50%) plus a B.A.Ed. or B.Sc.Ed. from NCTE-approved colleges.
• Degree alignment: Bachelor’s and Master’s must be in the same relevant subject or approved equivalent.

4. Special Schools for Differently Abled

• For Visual/Hearing Impaired Teaching Roles:
  1. A postgraduate degree (≥ 50%) plus B.Ed. (Special Education) for Visually/Hearing Impaired from a Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)-recognized institution.
  2. Alternatively, B.Ed. plus a Senior Diploma in Teaching the Visually/Hearing Impaired from an RCI-approved college.
• Additional standards: All conditions detailed in G.O. Ms. No. 14, School Education [SE2(1)], dated 30.01.2020, will apply.

Age Limit (as of 01 July 2025)

• General Category: up to 53 years
